Review: Elizavecca 24k Gold Waterdrop & 2hsam Cream Mask 3

(stock photo from

I recently received a package from the Korean skin care company Elizavecca, and this is one of the products I received. It’s an ultra hydrating cream mask that boasts 24k gold, sea cucumber, and red ginseng amongst its ingredients. I squeezed a little onto my hand, and it has the consistency of custard, and smells like lemonade.

I started with a freshly washed face. Now, the directions my friend translated said to apply a thick layer, and that’s what I did. It ended up being a bit too much, and I had to pat off the excess, so don’t do what I did. A thin layer would have sufficed. Anyway, when you start to rub this stuff into your skin, it forms little droplets. I continued to massage it into my skin until the droplets were mostly gone, and I patted them away with a clean cloth.

This stuff provides a really intense, REALLY heavy moisture. It made my skin feel very smooth and plump, and the moisture lasted all day without getting greasy. However, since this stuff is so heavy, I would probably use it in the future before bed, and only a few times a week.

My skin tends to be on the dry side, and I would definitely recommend this mask to anyone with similar skin. (Side note: does anyone know what 2hsam is/does?)

before and after

  • Very creamy
  • Smells like lemonade
  • Very hydrating
  • Anti aging ingredients
  • Non-greasy moisture

  • Very heavy, not recommended for day wear

Final rating: 4/5

Sounds great! And I think the 2hsam is there way of emphasizing the ngredients. The product contains sea cucumber, which in Korean is “hae sam”, and ginseng which in Korean is “hong-sam”. 🙂

Wow, that mask sounds great. Especially the lemonade part! Hope it works well for you.

I rarely use face masks because I have really sensitive skin, unfortunately. Wish I could use them without getting a rash!

I have oily skin and I apply a thin layer after washing under make up, and I live in Hawaii. It has proven to be amazing for my skin and somehow controls oil too!!
